Mic hael J. Zuppa, Sr , 75, of Allentown , passed away at home on January 27, 2023 after a courageous batt le with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) . Born in Brooklyn NY, he attended Keyport schools and later moved to M a tawan befor e coming to Allentown 7 years ago. He worked as a tile setter for over 40 years for the Tile Setters Union of NY & NJ Local 5 2, which eventually be came BAC ( Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers ) Local Union No. 7 . Michael was a former member of St . Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Keyport and St . Clement P a rish in Matawan. Someone with a phenomenal memory and a n incredible personality, Michael was always smiling and everyone who met him, loved him. Michael coach ed his children ' s Little League b aseball team s and often volunteered at their elementary schools . He was a lover of cars, especially classic cars, and enjoyed the beach, Motown and 1960's music. But his greatest joy was his family and his four grandchildren .

S o n of the late Armando and Carmela Zuppa, Michael is survived by his loving wife of 52 years , Pa trice Strang Zuppa; his children, Michael Zuppa, J r . and his wife, Mar isa and Janice Benacchio and her husband, Greg; his grandchildren, Michael III, Emily, Kaitlyn and Kevin; his s isters, Joan Myers and Dorothy King as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousin s.
