Michael J. Wira, 60, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold.
Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he had lived in Jackson before moving to Millstone 20 years ago. He retired from Best Foods Baking Company, in Edison as a District Sales Manager, and was a long-time member of the VCCA and St. James' Episcopal Church of Yardville.

Predeceased by his infant son, Alan Michael Wira, he is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Karen L. Wira (nee Sailey); his twin sons, Christopher John and Sean Douglas Wira; his sister, Ethel Hopkins; his nephews, Bryan Hopkins and his wife Catherine, and Evan Hopkins and his wife Katharyn; a great niece, Natalie Hopkins; a great nephew, Evan H. Hopkins; his niece Lynne Ulrich and her husband Robert; his niece Elizabeth Bashiti; and his four-legged companions Libby, Keely , Max and Tigger.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, September 5 at St. James' Episcopal Church, 1040 Yardville-Allentown Rd, Yardville, NJ 08620. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Greek Catholic Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Friends may call Thursday evening 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St, Allentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to St. James' Episcopal Church.
