Michael S. Preneta, 51, of Windsor, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. Born in Princeton, he was a longtime Windsor resident and worked as a Fleet manager for the NJ State Police for many years. Michael was an outdoorsman and loved to go fishing. He was a talented mechanic, enjoyed cooking and working in his garden.
Son of the late Janice Sailey Preneta Mount, he was predeceased by his sister, Constance Preneta. Michael is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Tyler Preneta of Allentown and Michael and Samatha DeAngelo of Hamilton, his father Stanley Preneta of Windsor; his grandson, Michael DeAngelo, Jr., three sisters and a brother-in-law, Katherine Bailey of Stockton, Cynthia and Raymond Schaaf of Windsor and Karen Poli of Allentown; his former wife, Lisa Preneta of Allentown and nieces and nephews, Raymond, Dylan, Samantha, Steven, Carly, Erin, Johnny and Frankie.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 11am with a memorial service to begin at 11am on Saturday, November 26th at the First Baptist Church of Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Allentown, 72 Waker Ave., Rt 526, Allentown, NJ 08501.
