Obituary

Michael W. "Mickey" Howarth, 83, of Browns Mills passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at his residence. Born in Trenton as one of twelve children, he lived in the Hamilton area for over 50 years where he was an accomplished carpenter. An avid fisherman, seasoned domestic traveler and keen to go to Atlantic City for an adventure, Mickey was an amazing man whose neighbors loved their weekly chats. Whether they were about the Cowboys or the Steelers, or the best way to maintain your lawn, he was the guy to converse with. A great man to all who knew him, Mickey will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Elva Howarth as well as his son Michael Howarth, Mickey is survived by the love of his life for over 50 years, Janet Stillwell; his sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Daniel Smith; his four sons; Dave Diemer and his wife, Bobbie, Paul  Howarth and his wife, Rosane, Danny Howarth and Tim Stillwell; his daughter and son-in-law, Trish and Wes Wiltsey; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.

A service for Mickey will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. in Allentown. A viewing will be held from 11am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Ellisdale Cemetery.
