Melvin S. Vaughn, 90 of Ewing Twp., passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Atrium in Lawrenceville. Born in Yardley, PA he was a longtime Ewing area resident. A US Army veteran, Mel was a hard worker and loved his job as a wireman for RCA and later General Electric. He enjoyed tinkering with old cars and fixing lawnmowers. Mel also loved to reminisce and share his memories of the full and happy life he lived.

Son of the late Edward and Helen Vaughn, he was predeceased by his former wife, Alice S. Vaughn. Melvin is survived by his son, Brian M. Vaughn; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Jean V. Smith, Marie V. and Granville Mayo and Doris V. Beverly; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Vaughn as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 1pm on Saturday, June 4th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
