Melvin had many passions during his long life. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his brothers as a young adult. He loved dancing the jitter bug with his wife. Gardening was a strong passion and he was known to have the ability to grow anything and everything! You could always find Melvin puttering around the yard trimming trees, pulling weeds or cutting the grass. At the end of the day he could be found taking a nap under his favorite tree in the back yard. Melvin loved attending Phillies games with his brother Russell and son Gavin. He enjoyed bowling at Hamilton lanes on a team with wife Patsy and brother Russell.  He loved his family gathering either in Mercerville with his brother Wallace's family of 5 children and wife Sylvia or traveling to the Adirondack mountains to visit his daughter Kim's family and help on farm with Emma's horses. Melvin was a good daddy and loved his family and many dogs and cats throughout the years.
