Melanie M. Roberts, 96, of Burlington Township died Tuesday, July 6th in the Masonic Home of New Jersey. She was born in Fieldsboro and resided in the Bordentown area all of her life. Mrs. Roberts had retired as an assembler with Union Rubber Company of Trenton.

The widow of Russell J. Roberts and the mother of the late Jeanette Stevenson, she is survived by her son-in-law, Stanley B. Stevenson of Springfield Township; grandchildren, Gary and Cheryl Stevenson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10th at 11:00 A.M. from the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown with interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence, N.J. Calling hours will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Masonic Home of New Jersey, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, N.J. 08016.
