Obituary

Megan Mulligan was born April 20, 1960, and passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Megan was the youngest child of Harry and Patricia Mullery and the cherished only daughter among their five children. Growing up in Roselle, New Jersey, Megan was quiet in her youth and lovingly protected by her brothers Gregory, Harry, Shane and Brendan, forming bonds that remained strong throughout her life.

Megan graduated from the Girls Catholic High School of Roselle in 1979, where she was known for her kindness, intelligence, and vibrant spirit. She carried these qualities into her adult life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

Megan married Michael Dolan in 1986, and they were blessed with three wonderful children: Michael, Evan, and Caitlin. Megan's warmth and generosity were evident in her community involvement and the many lives she enriched. Megan worked diligently to provide for her three children for years in the food service industry and as a hair stylist before rounding out her career with New Jersey Transit. While working for New Jersey Transit, Megan met Teddy Mulligan and the two formed a cohesive relationship. Megan was remarried to Teddy Mulligan and together they built a life of love, laughter, and enduring memories.

She is survived by her husband Teddy, her three children Michael, Evan, and Caitlin, as well as her three grandchildren, Sofia, Stella, and Ayla. Megan will always be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her bright smile, her infectious laugh and her ability to light up any room she walked into.
