May Lavrovsky, 102, of Burlington, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 16th, at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, May lived in Millstone Township NJ for over 45 years until she moved to Burlington NJ in 2008. May was the shipping clerk for the Sears-Roebuck catalog store in Freehold NJ for over 25 years before her retirement. She was a founding member of the Millstone Township Hospital Auxiliary which raised funds for the Freehold Area Hospital which later became Centra State Hospital. May was a fabulous cook and loved to garden. She was a wonderful Mom, Gram, and Nana and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
May is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughters and son-in-law, Nadine & Anthony Angelini of Hamilton, NJ and Janice Lavrovsky of Burlington, NJ; her granddaughters, Kimberly Vingara and Carla Golden; as well as her great-grandchildren, Katelyn Buschhoff & Charlie Wagner, Daniel Buschhoff and Morgan Vingara. She was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Pauline Kaleda, her brother Nicholas Kaleda and her beloved husband of over 56 years, Frank Lavrovsky.
Services and interment for May will be private, as was her wish. May loved reading and going to our county libraries to pick out books to read. She also loved our family pets. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local library or animal shelter.
