Matthew J. Healy, 82, of East Windsor, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at CareOne of Hamilton. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Healy was a graduate of St. Peter's Prep School in Jersey City. He later attended St. Andrew's on the Hudson, St. Ignatius Loyola, John Carroll and NYU. Mr. Healy retired as a CPA and Auditor for ITT. He was an active parishioner for many years at St. Anthony's of Padua in Hightstown where he was involved with the Anthonians, was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Eucharistic Minister.
Predeceased by his brother, James Healy and two sisters, Catherine and Mary; he is survived by his son, David Healy of Miami and his daughter, Meredith Brauer of East Windsor; a sister, Anne Jarvis of Matawan; two grandchildren, Colleen and Kyle; a great grandson, Aidan as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, September 30th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd, Allentown. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
