Maryann Maglione, 68 of Allentown, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Abington Health in Abington, PA. Born in Newark, she grew up in Bloomfield and resided in Old Bridge prior to moving to Allentown. Maryann was a former member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in South Amboy and was a dedicated employee of Intelligent Resource Group where she worked for several years. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and would go whenever she could and loved animals. Most of all, Maryann loved being a grandmother to her beloved grandson, Connor.
Daughter of the late Frank and Helena Franzi, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Maglione; her daughters and sons-in-law, Danielle and Gene Balena of Howell and Denise and Angelo Lobosco of Freehold; her grandson, Connor Cherney of Freehold, her stepmother, Rose Franzi and stepbrother, John Paragano.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Wednesday, September 7th at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Tuesday, September 6th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
