Maryann R. Gaul, 81, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at CareOne of Hamilton.  Born in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Philadelphia.  As a Registered Nurse, Maryann work for various hospitals, retiring from Perth Amboy Hospital.

Maryann was a talented woman, she loved music, playing the piano, and crocheting. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and shopping, as well traveling the country and being at the beach.

Daughter of the late James and Mary O'Connell, she was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Gillespie, Maryann is survived by her children and their spouses, Michele and Michael O'Brien, Nancy and Timothy Mondon, and Joseph and Kimberly Gaul; her grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Connor, Jennifer, Christina, Erin, Bridget, Brandon, Christopher, and Nicholas; six great grandchildren, Hudson, Bryce, Brooklynn, Owen, Tanner, and Kinleigh; sister, Eileen Prisco; brother and sister-in-law, James and Debbie O'Connell as well as nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Monday, April 4 ^th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, April 5 ^th at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
