Maryann E. Bitondo , 69, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at her home in Bordentown Township, NJ. Born in Trenton, she was raised in Hamilton Township and had lived in Lake Hiawatha prior to moving to Bordentown 20 years ago. Maryann was a graduate of Hamilton High West and worked as a nurse's aide prior to becoming a cashier for several places including Thriftway and Risoldi's Market.

Maryann enjoyed working with plants, her favorite being sunflowers. She enjoyed cooking and had recipes for every holiday. She enjoyed giving gifts more than receiving and would have a present for everyone. She loved her animals especially cats and was a member of the ASPCA, the Defenders of Wildlife and the Alley Cat Allies. She will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Elizabeth Ireland, her brother Charles Ireland Jr, her first husband John Turgyan Sr. and her son John Turgyan Jr and her cat "Pumpkin", she is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years William (Bill) Bitondo, her brother William Ireland and David Windle of Galloway Township, her sister Leola Ireland of Trenton and her niece Ashley Lasanta.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
