Mary Zorovich of
Allentown

, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, passed away on June 23 after a brave seven-year battle with cancer. She was 70 years old.
Mary was an active member of
St. John's
parish and its 50+ Club and enjoyed gardening, cooking, Broadway plays and spending time with her loved ones. Born in
Queens

New York
, she attended
Marymount
High School
in
Manhattan
, graduated from
Fordham
University
, received a master's degree from
Queens
College
, and continued her education at the
College
of
New Jersey
.
Mary was an educator for over 25 years. She was a teacher in the
New York City
Public School
system before moving to
New Jersey
in 1974. She later taught kindergarten in
Allentown
for four years. After going back to graduate school in 1980, she became an administrator in
Pemberton
Township
where she worked tirelessly as an advocate for both students and teachers until she retired from her position as
Denbo
Elementary School
principal in 2001. Since retiring, she enjoyed traveling and volunteer work.
Mary is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dan Zorovich; her three children, Julie Krein and her husband Stephen, Ken Zorovich and his wife Jackie, and Tara Zorovich; her grandchildren, Allison, Colleen and Sean Krein, and her brother Tom Coyne. She was predeceased by her brother James Coyne.
A viewing will be held at Peppler Funeral Home,

on Tuesday, June 28, at
St. John's
Catholic Church,
Allentown-Yardville Rd.

Cemetery
