Mary Wurmbrandt, 88, of Yardville, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. Born in Hungary, she resided in the Cream Ridge area for many years before moving to Yardville. Mary and her husband, John, owned and operated an apple orchard on Yellow Meeting House Road for 50 years. She made many blankets which she donated to local charities and she loved to cook.
Daughter of the late Paul and Mary Pek, she was predeceased by her husband John Wurmbrandt and her brother Julius Pek. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Linda Wurmbrandt of Bordentown Twp.; her granddaughters, Diana and her husband Kevin Cartmill of Cream Ridge, Rebecca and her husband John Slisky of Marlboro and Terri Wurmbrandt of Bordentown; her great granddaughter, Olivia Morgan Slisky and her Goddaughter, Valerie Gervalis of British Columbia, Canada.
Funeral service will be held 11am on Thursday, July 26 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown. Pastor William Houseworth will officiate. Interment will follow at Yellow Meeting House Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 â?? 9 pm and again Thursday from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
