Mary Pultorak McCarthy, 65, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at her home on October 22, 2025. Born in Poland to Joseph and Jane Pultorak, Mary grew up alongside her sister Barbara and brothers Christopher and Stephen in North Brunswick, NJ. Mary spent over 20 years in the Allentown area before recently settling in Toms River.

Mary found her greatest joy and serenity at the beach or surrounded by the rhythm of live music, where she could truly be "in the moment." She treasured life's simple pleasures, like a bouquet of locally grown flowers, a delicious dessert, cuddles with her cat, Willie, and singing along to her favorite songs in the car. She loved connecting with people and hearing their stories, whether they were a close friend or a stranger in the grocery line. Above all, Mary was a loving mother, aunt, sister, and friend who wanted to be a source of light and kindness in the world.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved parents, Joseph and Jane Pultorak; her sister, Barbara Pultorak and her brother, Stephen and his wife, Lori Pultorak. She is survived by her brother Christopher and his wife Kathleen Pultorak of Sea Bright, NJ; her loving daughters and their husbands, Caitlin McCarthy and Holden Bale of Brooklyn, NY, and Alison and Luke Jones of Allentown, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mary's life on Saturday, November 1st, at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S.
