Obituary

Mary A. Cavallaro, 87, of Hamilton Twp., passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Capital Health Systems â?? Fuld Campus. Born and raised in Chambersburg, she was a graduate of St. Joachim Grammer School and for the last 30 years resided in the Yardville area. Mary retired as a seamstress for Atlantic Products in Hamilton. She was a past officer of the Futonette Club of Chambersburg and a member of St. Raphael's Church and the Best Friends Organization. Mary was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading and gardening. Daughter of the late Concetto and Flavia Cavallaro, the first to arrive from Italy, she was predeceased by two brothers, Charlie and Joseph Cavallaro and a sister, Nancy Zelewski. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Cavallaro; her brother, Nicholas Cavallaro; two sisters, Lucy Persichilli and Josephine Buckley; a sister-in-law, Katherine Cavallaro; a special friend, Alvin Beveridge as well as many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Thursday, November 11th at Holy Angels Church, 1733 South Broad St. Trenton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Thursday from 9-10am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown.
