Mary E. Branin (Betty), 85, of Bordentown City, passed away Monday, March 17 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born in Bordentown, she had been a resident of the area most of her life. She had worked for Laycocks 5 and 10 and also Kanters Department Store both of Bordentown and finally retired from Sears in Lawrenceville in 1986 after 25 years. Betty was a member of the Golden Age Luncheon Club and the Bordentown City Senior Citizens.

Daughter of the late George and Mary Parcells, mother of the late Glenn S. and Patricia Branin, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Audrey Mount and her husband Earl of Bordentown City, 3 grandchildren, Michael and his fiancé Laure, Christopher and David Branin and 1 great grandson, Michael Branin Jr.a nephew, Barry mount and his fiancé Terri, a niece Nancy Main and her husband John, other nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
