Mary M. Bird, 92, passed away Sunday, April 5th, at the Riverview Estates, in Riverton. Born in Broadalbin, NY, she had lived in Chesterfield Township before moving to the home 4 years ago. Mary had worked for Brick Milling Company in Bordentown for many years before retiring as a secretary for McCay Insurance of Bordentown after 18 years employment. She was a charter member of the Chesterfield ""Keenagers"" and attended the Chesterfield Baptist church.

Wife of the late Lester Bird, she is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles L. and Jenny Bird of Whiting, Bruce R. and Sandy Bird of Yardville, David E. and Arlene Bird of Cinnaminson and William R. and Marianne Bird of Nutley. She has eight grandchildren, Dennis Bird, Dean Bird, Susan Bird, Charles Bird Jr., Bonnie Pover, Heather Bird, Darlene Costa Gomes, and Lori Bird-Smith and a number of great grandchildren

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday evening, April 8th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
