Martha Waskovich, 74, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at her home. Born in Dr. Farmer's Hospital in Allentown, NJ, she grew up on the family farm in Upper Freehold Twp. and was a lifetime resident of the area. Martha graduated from Allentown High School and earned her degree in Elementary Education from Trenton State College. She taught second grade and Kindergarten for Burlington Township School District, retiring after 28 years of service.

Although Martha battled Multiple Sclerosis for many years, she enjoyed life and being with her family and friends. She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and in recent years, she enjoyed spending time at her place in Atlantic City.

Daughter of the late Stella and Joseph Rette, she was predeceased by her Godmother, Helen Wnuk. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dr. James I. Waskovich; her children, James A. Waskovich and his wife, Mary and Linda Devenney and her husband, John; her granddaughters, Stephanie and Olivia Waskovich and Stella, Mollie, and Lilly Devenney; her sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnn and Barry Caparotta and Susan and John Astrab; her nieces, Tina and Amy and their families and her caregiver, Lauren Adams.

A viewing will be held Monday, July 7th from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, July 8th at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
