Mark Nemeth aka "John Wayne" 74, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Born in Allentown, NJ, he had lived in Bordentown Township prior to moving to Yardville where he resided for the past 42 years. He earned his bachelor's degree from Trenton State College and retired as a Lieutenant with the State of New Jersey. Mark enjoyed being a drummer and he performed and recorded a record with the band, The Storm Winds. He was a lifetime member of the PBA, the FOP and was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He loved classic cars, NASCAR, the Philadelphia Phillies, football and music; especially Frankie Valli and the Beach Boys. More than anything, his family meant the world to him.

Predeceased by his parents, George and Marie Nemeth; he is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Darlene "Dar" Usmiani Nemeth; his daughter, Stephanie "Steph" Nemeth and his goddaughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Usmiani, her husband, Aneesh Vaze and their children, Ivo, Adrie and Marin Vaze; his fur child, Louie and fur grandchildren, Rocco, Dante, Frankie, and Harper. Mark is also survived by  his mother-in-law, Maria Usmiani and other family members: Michael Usmiani, Andrew Usmiani and Jill Lyons, Andrew, Nicholas and Joseph Usmiani, Anita Usmiani, Glenn and Kathleen Roberts, John and Joann Siket, Neva and Joe Kanaby, Dave and Christy Kanaby, Rachel and Caitlin Kanaby, Michelle and Anthony Fontana, Kelly Fontana, Kristin Spataro, Phil and PJ Spataro, Jill Curlis-Rohrbach and Jeff Rohrbach and many, many dear friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday January 11th from 8:00am until 10:15am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Saturday, January 11th at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Hamilton Square, NJ. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown, NJ.
