Mark Clark , 59, of Southampton, NJ, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Born on December 17, 1965, Mark was the son of the late Charles and Jeanne (Tell) Clark. A devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, he was known for his generosity, humor, and tireless commitment to helping others.

Mark proudly served as a Captain at Hope Hose in Bordentown City for 15 years and was also an EMT before retiring from the Department of Corrections after 25 years of dedicated service. He lived in Southampton with his devoted wife, Kimberly (Kelly) Clark, and found joy in the outdoors—especially fishing with his son, Liam, who is currently a sophomore at Seneca High School. Mark was equally proud of his daughter, Kailyn, who will graduate from Clemson University this May, and of his son, Daniel, a Marine veteran who now works on Lackland Air Force Base.

A true lover of all animals, Mark's life was marked by a dedication to rescuing and raising creatures of every kind—raccoons, squirrels, owls, crows, emus, alpacas, peacocks, goats, and more. He was a devoted dog dad to Lex and Oliver, a cat dad to Squidlby, and shared his passion for helping animals with his entire family.

Mark is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his sons, Daniel Clark (of Cibolo, TX) and Liam Clark; and his daughter, Kailyn Kelly (of Clemson, SC). He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Katherine Clark; grandson, Morgan Clark; his brothers, Jerry Cheeseman and Steve Clark; his nieces, Sarah (Cheeseman) Chew and Emily (Cheeseman) Zytko; his beloved Aunt Joan (Tell) Wieszczek; and many cousins who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service, arranged by Peppler Funeral Home, will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Hope Hose Firehouse (150 W Burlington St, Bordentown, NJ 08505). Calling hours will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Mark's life.
