Marion A. Lane, 85, of Whiting passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at her home.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in East Windsor, NJ and moved to Whiting, NJ ten years ago.  She was a member of the NJEA, a retired para-professional in the school system, and a former member of the Autumn Club in Hightstown.   Marion was also active in the Cedar Glen Lakes community in Whiting.

Predeceased by her twin sister, Ericka M. Bastian, she is survived by her husband of 63 years, John J. Lane (Jim); three children and their spouses; Wesley J. and Mary Ellen Lane of Morrisville, PA; Barbara L. and Roger Wood of Woodland Park, NJ; and Diane E. Lane and James Tugya of Merchantville, NJ; four grandchildren, one great grandson and five nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13th from 1-4pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street.  Funeral service will begin at 4pm.  Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made in Marion's name to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor,
