Obituary

Marilyn E. Rozansky, 88, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022.  Born in Hoboken, NJ, Marilyn resided in Allentown, NJ for most of her life before moving to Chambersburg in 2004. Marilyn was a farmer's wife who raised her family on the family farm in Allentown, and a cherished grandmother that adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A woman of strong faith, she was a longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. After moving to Chambersburg, Marilyn became active with Corpus Christi Church. She was a member of the Franklin County Historical Society and the Busy Fingers Craft Club. In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed gardening; traveling; spending time with her beloved dog, Cotton; and indulging in her favorite peanut butter cup candies.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Julius J. Rozansky, Jr., her daughter, Patricia Franke, her brother Herman Groppe, brother-in-law John Rozansky and his wife Gloria.  She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Julius, III and Patricia Rozansky of Jackson, NJ; James and Susan Rozansky of Secaucus, NJ; Susan and Jule Dolci of Columbus, NJ; and Thomas and Joanne Rozansky of Greencastle, PA; son-in-law, Edwin Franke, Sr; grandchildren, Rachel, Joseph (Lauren), Stephen (Lauren), Nicole, Jule Jr. (Lisa), Danielle, Kristin (Fred), Jennifer, Tara (Daniel), Edwin Jr., Chris (Mayela), Travis (Johelly), Julia, Holly (Frank), and Austin; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; her cousin, Doris McNamara of Denver, CO; in-laws Carol & Claude Thomas, and Janet & Herb Worff.

A viewing will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 11am-12:30pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to Dementia Society of America and Corpus Christi Catholic Church of Chambersburg, PA.
