Marilyn Jane Langan, 80, passed away on September 9, 2024. She was born on November 13, 1943, and was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Mary Stringer.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband of over 52 years, Gary Langan, as well as her sister Barbara. Marilyn was a loving mom and was so proud of her three children David (Andrea), Bonnie (Ray) and Keith (Tracy). In addition to her children, Marilyn was "Nana" to her 10 grandchildren whom she loved and adored: Bryan (Carleigh), Megan, Taylor, Bridget, Kylee, Ray, Annie, Zach, Emerson, and Kinley. She would light up every time the kids entered the room. She was "Aunt Marilyn" to her nieces and nephews and loved her cousins dearly. Marilyn is also survived by her sister Nancy Hampson, sister-in-law Diane Manney (Tom), and brother-in-law Paul Langan (Patty). Marilyn was a kind, giving soul that brought many friends into her life that she cherished dearly.
Marilyn graduated from Caldwell High School and received her Associate degree from Keystone Junior College. She was a devoted wife and mother who raised her children in Medford, NJ while supporting Gary's 25-year career in the FBI. When her children were older, Marilyn went on to work as a Sales & Marketing Representative for Ferolie Corporation. Gary and Marilyn retired to Harvey Cedars on Long Beach Island, NJ, where they enjoyed entertaining and opening up their home to friends and family, especially for the annual Dog Day Race. She loved watching sunsets on the deck and all the wonderful times on 80th street beach.
