Marilyn J. Koch, age 83, of Cream Ridge passed away March 6 at home surrounded by her family.  Born in Passaic, NJ, she spent her early years in Bloomfield, and was a graduate of New Brunswick High School. Marilyn resided in Sayreville, NJ prior to moving to Cream Ridge in 2001.  Marilyn worked at Boy Scouts International before retiring to raise her family. She loved to garden, travel, and spend winters in Florida with her husband, and crochet and play bingo with her friends.  Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Edwin and Cornelia Bowen, she was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Alfred O. Koch.  Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Barbara, her husband Bernard and granddaughters Brianna and Celia; and her son, Richard, his wife Lorrie and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Kristen.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 8 ^th from 10-11am with a funeral service to begin at 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St., Allentown.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, of which she was a long-time supporter. www.stjude.org
