Marie J. Spino, 83, of Allentown, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at CareOne of Hamilton. Born in Gallitzin, PA, she resided in Newark most of her life prior to moving to Edison in 1973 and later Allentown in 2004. A register nurse, Marie worked in Labor and Delivery at Newark City Hospital for 36 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. John's Church in Allentown and adored her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Angelo and Catena Tosi, she was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Nicola Spino. Marie is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Robert Snyder of Allentown and Mary and Ronald Ruiz of Moosup, CT; her grandchildren, Nicholas Iozzi and his wife Phyllis of Howell, Katharine Iozzi of Allentown, Jack Ruiz of Moosup, CT and Bradford Snyder of East Brunswick; her great granddaughter, Isabella Marie Iozzi; her sister, Angela Landon of Florham Park as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on Friday, February 20th at St. John's RC Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ. Entombment will follow in Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm and again Friday from 8:30-9:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
