Marie A. Schwartz, 82, of Cream Ridge, passed away Friday, April 17th, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a longtime Cream Ridge area resident. Marie worked many years at Sears in Trenton and was a member of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt. Marie enjoyed reading, needlepoint and playing Bingo and cards. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Eugene J. Schwartz and grandmother of the late Kevin Bryant, she is survived by a son, Charles Schwartz of Mt. Laurel; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Margaret (Peggy) Bryant of Springfield, MA., Patricia (Rickie) and Thomas Burzachiello of Clearwater, FL., Marie Lukacs of Allentown, Eleanor and John Niagas of Hamilton Twp., Jeanne Shortino of Hamilton Twp. and Theresa and Bill Sparks of New Egypt; 16 grandchildren, Jeff, Mike and Keith Bryant. Steve Bryant and his wife Season, Kelly Pittman and her husband Tim, Tommy Burzachiello and his wife Norie, Paula Longo, George P. IV and Tim Klein, Jaimie Lukacs, Christy Takacs and her husband Brian, Melissa Marino and her husband Mike, Jeanna Shortino and her fiancée Brian Perhacs, Philip Shortino and his wife Karin, Bill Sparks and his wife Leslie and Rob Sparks; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandson and many nieces and nephews including Betty Ann Wheeler and her husband Skip of Little Egg Harbor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 am at the Church of the Assumption, 74 Evergreen Rd., New Egypt. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General Wm C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Tuesday 7 pm to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Assumption.
