Marie S. Guthrie, 80, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-Mainland Campus, in Galloway Township. Born in Trenton, she had lived in the Trenton area most of her life, before residing in Galloway and Ocean View, NJ. She had worked as a Black Jack dealer at Harrah's in Atlantic City. Marie was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening.

Daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Cammarata (nee DiSalvo), sister of the late Sara Smith, wife of the late John W. Guthrie and mother of the late Richard and Dennis Guthrie, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Dennis Brown of Chesterfield, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Susan Guthrie of Yardville and Ken and Donna Guthrie of Flemington. Her sister, Joann Bryan and her husband Daniel of Somers Point, a daughter-in-law, Eileen Guthrie of Ewing, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her companion Joseph McCarthy of Ocean View.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10 am Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
