Marian Wallsten, 83, of Allentown, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in East Northport, NY, she was a resident of the Allentown area for many years. Marian supported her husband and helped with the daily running of the family farm. She was a member of Allentown Presbyterian Church and was a great cook, talented knitter and had a gift for hospitality.

Daughter of the late John A. and Wilhelmina Johnson and sister of the late Phillip Johnson, she is predeceased by her husband, Carl Wallsten. Marian is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Wallsten of Allentown and Carl and Jeanna Wallsten of Cream Ridge; four grandchildren, Tad, Joy, Brett and Daniel Wallsten; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Louise Johnson and Arthur and Marian Johnson, both of Pennsylvania as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday, December 4th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. The Rev. Horace Frantz will officiate. Interment will follow in the Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening 7 to 9 pm and again Saturday, 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
