Maria Grazia Mazzone, 54, of Allentown, passed away at home Sunday, February 14, 2016. Born in Comiso, Italy, she moved to the United States in 1973 and resided in New York City for many years before moving to Allentown 15 years ago. A preschool teacher, Maria taught at the LittleTree Preschool in Allentown for 13 years and was a member of the Italian Ladies Club. She enjoyed attending Honor Yoga classes, touring wineries and was an avid dog lover.

Maria is survived by her husband, Cosimo Mazzone, of 35 years, whom she met in high school; her son, Alessandro Cosimo Mazzone of Allentown; two daughters and a son-in-law, Daniela Maria Mazzone of Baltimore, MD; and Stefania and Travis Weis of Glen Allen, VA; her parents, Carmelo and Serafina Vincenti of Hamilton, NJ; her grandchildren, Aiden James and Grayson Thomas Weis; her brother and sister-in-law, Salvatore and Juliana Vincenti of Brooklyn, NY, as well as her nieces.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 20th from 4pm - 7pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown. A memorial service will be celebrated by Rev. Dr. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson.
