Maria "Nora" Hudak, 84, resident of New Jersey and Florida, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. Born in Pradeda, Colombia, she lived her early years in Cali, Colombia with parents Antonio and Rosalia Lozano as well as her siblings Emiro, Antonio Jose, Jaime, Luis Mario, Alfredo, Rosita, Irma and Maria Luisa. She was a graduate of the Conservatory of Music for piano and an accomplished artist.

Nora was married for 60 years to her beloved husband, John Hudak, who she met in Panama and wed by proxy. She is survived by her husband John, her son Michael, her daughter Sandra and her son-in-law Kevin and her two grandchildren, Alexandra and Nicholas Colie.

Nora loved her family, animals and flowers which showed in her artwork and appearance. She was devoted to the Catholic Church, became a Eucharistic Minister and prayed the rosary daily. Nora will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

A visitation will be held on Friday August 15th at Peppler Funeral Home at 114 South Main Street, Allentown NJ from 3 PM - 5 PM. A memorial service officiated by Father Patrick McDonnell will be held at 4 PM. A repass will follow the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests spiritual bouquets or memorial masses from St. Anthony of Padua Church, Hightstown or a church of the requestor's choice.
