Obituary

Marguerite S. Flock, 90, of Inverness, FL, passed away Wednesday May 28th. Born in Avon by the Sea, she resided in Allentown for over 30 years and moved to Inverness, Fl in 1999. She retired after 26 years of employment from the NJ Association for Retarded Citizens and in 1973 she received the Martin Papish Award for her dedication to the Association. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Allentown, the Allentown First Aid Squad and the Hope Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Daughter of the late A. Lyalle and Elizabeth Salmons; mother of the late Byron H. Flock, Jr. and Betty Lou Johnson and mother-in-law of the late Robert Pullen; she was predeceased by a brother, William L. Salmons and a brother-in-law, Everett Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Marguerite ""Rita"" Pullen Walter and her husband Kenneth; a sister Doris Jackson; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Flock; son-in-law, Donald Johnson; sister-in-law, Mildred Salmons; special friend, Jeff Flock; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Interment will be private at the Emleys Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call Sunday 1-4pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641-270, Beverly Hills, Fl 34464.
