Woolf
June 22, 1953 – February 19, 2020
Margaret "Peg" Woolf, 66, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2020 with her family by her side. Born in Trenton, she had lived in the Columbus and Bordentown area all her life. After graduating from Virginia Tech, (Go Hokies!!) with a major in Education, Peg was Financial Comptroller at the family business Wirth Lumberama. She was also an active member in the Bordentown Area Chamber of Commerce, the Central Jersey Antique Car Club as well as a faithful volunteer for the Street of Dreams Car Show.
Peg enjoyed beach time in Wildwood, NJ, Jupiter Island and St. Petersburg, FL. She was also extremely proud of her cooking and baking skills, which she perfected after years of practice.
Peg was predeceased by her father and mother, John and Thelma Wirth, her husband, Richard Woolf, her daughter, Dana Michelle Gamel and James Gamel. She is survived by her brother: Don Wirth and wife Martha, niece: Becky Springswirth and her husband Beckett, grand niece and nephew: Alden and Grady and nephew: DJ Wirth and his wife Nina. Along with relatives, she will be missed by the "Rat Pack": Linda and Dave, Steph, Jim and Lorraine, Deb and Bill and her loyal companion Engio. She will also miss taking boat rides with Captain Ed.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm with services beginning at 8pm on Tuesday, February 25 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial contributions be made to an organization very dear to her: City of Angels NJ Inc., PO Box 10237, Trenton, NJ 08650.
