Margaret E. Ward, 87, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Capital Health System, Mercer Campus in Trenton. Born in Haddon Twp., she had lived in Bordentown most of her life. She was a graduate of MacFarland High School and had worked for Acme Markets for 42 years. Margaret was a past member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown.

Wife of the late Alan F. Ward, daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Shonts and sister of the late Murrell and Georgeâ??Buck' Shonts and Dorothy Borocz, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Carrie Ward and her daughter and son-in-law, Mollie and Kevin Theriault all of Bordentown, five grandchildren; Heather and Maggie Anderson and Kristen, Lauren and Zachary Ward, two step-sons, Ray and Al Ward, close family friend, Dawn Ward and nieces and nephews: Linda Bloom, Joan Borocz, Denise Mount and Dean Shonts.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
