Obituary

Margaret "Peg" Rockhill, 91, of Whiting, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at Crestwood Manor. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime resident of Upper Freehold Twp. A graduate of Allentown High School, Peg worked as an executive secretary for RCA Sarnoff, Princeton University and Forrestal Research Center, later retiring from Upper Freehold Township. Peg was an active longtime member the Allentown United Methodist Church and was a member of the church's Willing Workers and United Methodist Women groups.

Daughter of the late Nelson and Nola Parks, she was predeceased by her husband, C. Edward Rockhill; her brother, William Parks, two grandsons, Todd Dancer and Brian Rockhill and two great granddaughters, Faith and Claire Amato. Peg is survived by her children, David and Petie Rockhill of Whiting, Edward Rockhill of Bradenton, Fl and Nola and Bob Noller of Cream Ridge; grandchildren, Lisa and Steve Korneluk of North Hanover, Lora and Joe Amato of Bordentown, Linda and Frank D'Amico of Robbinsville, Kim and David Kalm of Allentown, Sue and Lenny Marcocci of Mercerville and Peter and Debbie Dancer of Ewing; nine great grandchildren as well as a cousin, Bev and Jack Blair of Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

Funeral service will be held 11am on Friday, January 3rd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. The Rev. Fran Ballinger will officiate. Interment will follow in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St., Allentown, NJ 08501 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
