Obituary

Margaret May Pinto, 92, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington. Born in Trenton, she had lived in Ewing for 43 years prior to moving to the Home 6 years ago. Margaret retired as a Senior Clerk for the State of New Jersey, Department of Insurance. She was an active member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Trenton, where she sang in the choir. Margaret also sang in the former Bel Canto Choir in her younger years.

Daughter of the late John Anthony and Ella Bunting Pinto, sister of the late Dorothy Pinto Milburn and John Alvin Pinto, and great-great Aunt to the late Alessandra Marie Chattin, she is survived by her two nieces: Linda Milburn Morelli, and her husband William; and Cynthia Pinto Chattin; two nephews: William Milburn, and Thomas Milburn and his wife Michelle Modrick; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Pinto. Margaret is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews: Jonathan Chattin (Nicole); Andrew Chattin (Briana); Charissa Poklikuha (Joseph); Kaitlyn Khan (Christopher); Melissa Calix (Jose); and Matthew and David Rustay; and ten great-great nieces and nephews: Maya, Magdalena, Jonathan Jr., Christian, Caiden, Cody, Gage, Jackson, Ava Grace, and Jack.

Funeral Services will be 10 am Friday, February 2 at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington, NJ. Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to the charity of one's choice.
