Margaret Virginia Jones McCloe, 85, daughter of the late George and Ethel Jones,  of Yardville, was born on December 10, 1926. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George W. Jones Jr. She received her early education in the Yardville school system then graduated from Allentown High School, class of 1947.  Margaret retired from General Motors after 25 years of faithful service.  Margaret enjoyed spending her leisure time bowling and traveling to tournaments throughout the area.  She also enjoyed spending time with her adoring family and friends.

Margaret has been a faithful member of the Union A. M. E. Church for over fifty years.  She served for many years as president of the Hostess Club, where her eye and style for fashion was easily transferred to the art of interior design.  For many years, Margaret decorated the church's dining hall for special occasions, church conferences and other events.  She continued to serve as a member of the Christina Smith Missionary Society.

Margaret leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph H. McCloe; two loving and devoted daughters, Gloria Jean Leonard (Gregory Sr.), Jacqueline Ann Richardson (Wesley); five grandchildren, Michelle D. Palmer (Shawn), Keith W. Richardson, Justin R., Gregory  Jr. (Katrice) and Courtney L. Leonard; three great grandchildren, Morgan L., Shawn M. Palmer and Kamryn M; one sister -in -law, Martha Weathers and brother-in-law, Marvin  McCloe; several nieces,  nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12 pm Saturday, at the Union A.M.E Church, 72 Church St., Allentown NJ. The Rev. Carl Wade, Pastor, will officiate.  Calling hours will be from 10 am until time of church service.  Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery.
