Obituary

Madeline K. Amico, 81, of Roebling passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Philadelphia, she was a longtime Bordentown resident before moving to Roebling, She retired as a Tech Assistant for the NJ State Department of Investments and Pensions. Madeline was very active in local community organizations, including serving as Unit President for 4 years for the Bordentown American Legion Post 26 Women's Auxiliary and a member of the Bordentown Township Senior Citizens Club. She was also a member of Holy Assumption Church in Roebling and served as secretary and treasurer of the Church's St. Bernadina Society.

Daughter of the late Anthony and Erma Estwan, she was predeceased by her siblings, Stephen Estwan, Barbara Layton and Katherine Estwan . Madeline is survived by her daughter, Michele Amico of Roebling; her grandchildren, James Daley and his wife Kristen of Greenville, TN, Michael Amico, Alexandra Amico; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Ave, Roebling. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, August 6 th from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown.
