M. Helen Richardson, 87, passed away Friday, August 22, at home, with her family by her side. Born in Watertown, SD, she had lived in the Allentown, NJ area before moving to Bordentown three years ago. She was a WW II Army Veteran, had run the Book Store at Peddie School for many years and was a long time member and Sunday school teacher for the Allentown First Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family and friends were very important to her.
Daughter of the late Theodore and Elsie Lentz and wife of the late, Harry Richardson, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara Pohler of Bordentown City, two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Doreene Richardson of Montana and John and Margaret Richardson of Blackwood, NJ. Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Margaret Lentz and Howard and Fran Lentz, both of South Dakota. Two sisters, Marion Scalia of CA and Marie Lentz of AZ. 11 grandchildren, Larissa, Kaitlyn, Seth, Jeremiah, Amy, Carol Lyn, Eric, William, Christopher, Cindy and Stephen and 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 11 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning 10 am until time of service.
