M. Eileen Gearren, 89, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a graduate of Hamilton High West and St. Francis Hospital Nursing School.
Eileen moved to Bordentown in 1950 and opened a family Medical Practice with her husband, John B Gearren MD, where they worked side by side until his passing in 1987. She also worked locally as a substitute school nurse.

Predeceased by her husband, Dr. John B. Gearren, her brother, William C. Broderick, and her sister, Anita Boodley. She is survived by two sons and a daughter: Jack Gearren of Bordentown, Michael and Sylvana Gearren of New Bern, NC., Candace and Joseph Gore of Bordentown. Seven grandchildren: Katherine Gearren of New Bern, NC, Colleen Gore of Bordentown, Michael Gore of Bordentown, Michele Gore of Chicago, IL, Michael Gearren II of New Bern, NC, Maryellen Gore of Petaluma, CA and Kendall Gearren of Brooklyn, NY, her great granddaughter, Penelope Gore and very special nieces: Ginger Tylus, Kathleen Garrett , Patricia Bergstresser and her nephew, Matthew Garrett. The family would like to thank her devoted friend, Faith Neuls.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
