Lynden C. Ireland, 76, of New Egypt, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he grew up in Chesterfield and was a longtime resident of New Egypt. Lynden farmed for many years and loved the farm and country life. Later, with the help of his son, he owned and operated Ireland Plumbing. Lynden enjoyed trips with his wife to Keysville, VA and loved life. He was a kind man who was liked by all.

Son of the late Charles and Frances Ireland, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Ireland; his son and daughter-in-law, Lynden T. and Linda Ireland; his daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Lee and Kenneth Hopkins, Karen L. and Todd Robinson and Holly A. and Robert Simmons; his grandchildren, Lynden, Laura and Andrew Ireland, William Daniel and Lisa Marie Stillwell, Norman Johnson, Jared and Aidan Robinson and Kimberli, Kristina and Robert Simmons; his great grandchildren, William Daniel, Jr., Julie Anna, Patrick Daniel, Lily Marie and Elyjah; his sisters, Carol Ann Sasso, Phyllis Ireland and Elaine Dudas and her husband Russell; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Mitchell, Franklin and Beverly Mitchell, Sandra Burke and Louise and Donald Parry as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be held Friday, March 6th from 6-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The family request no flowers please.
