Lucy R. Pompile , 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the VNA Hospice House inVero Beach, FL. Born in New York City, NY she had lived in Bordentown Township and ChesterfieldTownship, NJ prior to moving to Vero Beach two years ago. Lucy attended Gwynedd Mercy University in Philadelphia, PA and was a Registered Nurse having worked for several doctor's offices and the Children's Day School in Ewing Township, NJ. Lucy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Eleanor Bonsanto, she is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard J. Pompile. Her three sons and daughter-in-law: Daniel and Matthew Pompile and Phillip Pompile and his wife Christine. Two brothers and their wives, Nicholas and Erika Bonsanto and Joseph and Georgianna Bonsanto. Three grandchildren Penny, Paige, and Piper.

Friends and family are invited to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ on Tuesday, January 17 at 10:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am.   Interment will follow at Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Township.  In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County.
