Lucille K. Gerrity, 86, of Allentown passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her home. Born in New York, NY, she had resided in Hamilton Square and East Brunswick for many years before moving to Allentown in 2004. Lucille worked for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for over 20 years, retiring in 1994. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of the church's 50+ Club, serving as a past secretary. Lucille loved to read and could finish a book in a day. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking occasional trips to Atlantic City.

Predeceased in 1975 by her first husband, Joseph P. Gerrity, Lucille is survived by her husband of 37 years, Nicholas D. Tortoriello; her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Virginia Gerrity of Winston Salem, NC and her granddaughters, Kelly Gerrity of Charlotte, NC and Erin Gerrity of Dallas, TX.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, December 18th at St. John the Baptist Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Friends may call Monday evening from 4pm to 7pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St., Allentown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made in Lucille's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 39101 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
