Louise Steelman, 88, of Allentown, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.  Born in Allentown, she was a lifetime resident.  Mrs. Steelman retired from Fleet Bank in Allentown after 52 years of service. She was active in the Allentown Presbyterian Church, singing in the choir and serving as a former church deacon and assistant treasurer.  Mrs. Steelman was also a member of the Allentown Villagers and loved flowers and animals, especially cats.

Daughter of the late Byron and Josephine Johnson, she was predeceased in February by her husband of 63 years, Howard B. Steelman.  She is survived by her son, Raymond Steelman, numerous nieces and nephews as well as her caregiver, Martha.

Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, March 29 ^th at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 High St., Allentown. The Rev. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S.
