Louise C. Moore, 96, of Neenah, WI, passed away suddenly Sunday February 11, 2007. Born on May 7, 1910 in Millstone Twp., she was a resident of New Egypt and Allentown for most of her life before moving to Neenah, WI 8 years ago. On December 4, 1934, Louise married Earle D. Moore, in Hightstown, who preceded her in death in 1956. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1933 from the College of New Jersey and taught at New Egypt Elementary School for 45 years. Louise was a former member of the Allentown Presbyterian Church and currently was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ, Neenah, WI.
Wife of the late Earle D. Moore, she was predeceased by her twin sister, Hannah Havens, her brother Perrine McKnight and a nephew, Earl McKnight, she is survived by a niece, Virginia Stutzman of Neenah, WI; a nephew, John Havens and his wife Virginia of Millstone Twp and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Saturday 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Dr. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Tenant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregational United Church of Christ, 1511 Nicolet Blvd. Neenah, WI 54956.
