Louise Bunting, 95, passed away peacefully at her residence in The Claire Estates in Bordentown. Born in Trenton, she was raised on a dairy farm in Crosswicks where she helped deliver milk to most of Crosswicks and the surrounding area. She worked at Laycock's 5 & 10 in Bordentown after graduating high school in 1945. She bought the store in 1961, operating it for about 10 years before closing the doors for new opportunities. She worked in banking and retired from Yardville National Bank in 1992. An avid horseback rider, Louise loved her various vacations at the Cimarron Ranch. She also loved bowling and was a perpetual member of the First Baptist Church in Bordentown. She will be missed by all.

Predeceased by her parents Howard T. Sr. and Mildred Bunting, as well as her brothers Charles M. Bunting II and H. Taylor Bunting Jr. . Louise is survived by her sister Joyce Elliott of Yardville, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services for Louise will be held at 11am on Monday, April 3 ^th , 2023 at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. in Bordentown. Friends may gather for a visitation with the family from 10am until the time of service. Interment will be held in North Crosswicks Cemetery located in Hamilton Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise's name to the First Baptist Church of Bordentown, 127 Prince Street Bordentown, NJ 08505.
