Louis J. Kiefer, 86, of Robbinsville, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Born in Trenton, he was a longtime Robbinsville resident. Lou was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School and earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from Georgetown University, '59. His career spanned 36 years working initially for RCA, and then as it evolved to GE and Lockheed Martin. He retired as a Finance Program Manager in 1998.
Lou was an avid golfer and member at Burlington Country Club for over 60 years and had been a past club president. He enjoyed traveling and spent many summers on Long Beach Island. He also enjoyed sailing and watching college basketball, especially his alma mater, the Georgetown Hoyas.
A longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church, Lou had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
Son of the late Louis and Irene H. Kiefer, Lou was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Celine G. Kiefer. He is survived by his loving daughters, Kristin C. Kiefer and her husband Mike McMahon and Kara C. Denholm; his grandsons, Christopher L. Denholm and Johnathan E. Denholm; and by his good friend and longtime companion, Roberta Alvarez.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 5th from 5-7pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 6th at 10am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. A private burial to follow for the immediate family.
