Lorraine Satchell, 85, of Allentown passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Nassawadox, VA, she was a longtime Allentown area resident.

Lorraine married McKinley in 1946 and moved to Allentown, New Jersey in 1951 and the couple had three children.

Lorraine worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Meadow Lakes in Hightstown and was a member of the Robbinsville First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother who was devoted to her family and was like a "mom" and advisor to her numerous friends.

Daughter of the late Severn and Hazel Turner, she is predeceased by her husband McKinley Satchell. Lorraine is survived by her three children, Kenneth Satchell and his wife Evelyn; Alma Satchell and Keith Satchell; her granddaughters, Danielle Miller, Crystal Satchell and Cynthia Satchell-Gore and her great granddaughters, Darrah, McKenna, Riley, Rose, Tamara and Jackalyn.

Cremation will be private under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
