Llda E. Linderman, 94, passed away on June 15 at the Clare Estates in Bordentown, New Jersey after a brief illness.
Llda was pre-deceased by her parents, Holmes Pellett and Lillian Holden. She was the wife of the late Horace F. Linderman. Surviving Llda are her stepmother, Irene Pellett, and daughter, JoAnne Linderman, as well as many loving friends.
A graduate of Bordentown High School, she also attended Rider College to further her skills as a secretary. She began her career at the Bordentown Bank where she worked for ten years. In 1955 she accepted the position of clerk at the Eldridge Park School in the Lawrence Township public school system. She retired in 1986, having achieved the title executive secretary to the superintendent. Llda continued to act as a substitute secretary for the school system well into her nineties.
She was a member of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Llda enjoyed needlework of all kinds. She also was a devoted dog owner.
Services will be conducted on Friday, June 19, at 11:00 a.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown NJ. Viewing hours will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
